We have made our Vogon Blockchain 1.0 Generally Available. It is a creation more than it is a technology. This little animated doodle shows it all.
The Transactions Per Second are so mind bogglingly fast if I told you the TPS you wouldn't believe me because they don't even fit on the scale. Andy Warzecha and Edwin Wang and Mark Kendell - its better than I thought.
It would take a year for a typical #blockchaintechnology to answer the kinds of problems Vogon will solve because they struggle "knowing" the previous block content.
However, the foundational unit of a consensus in the Protocol is inspired by biology. This consensus group is made up of what we call Vogons, it #blockchain #network is a fully interconnected, high performance mesh network containing up to hundreds of individual Vogons.
#Consensus is a deterministic process where the members of a consensus group collectively stitch together blocks on the blockchain.
It is optimally efficient, with each Vogon contributing transactional material to every other Vogon such that the cumulative network load does not exceed optimal efficiency. If the load speed begins to slow down, the blocks engage in a digital version of “cellular mitosis” to prevent the degradation of speed.
